Questions
Is this workshop only for Christians?
This is a Christian centered workshop, and everyone attending needs to understand that all information will be presented from a Christian perspective. However, anyone is welcome to attend, as it is designed to be practical, understandable, and helpful for anyone who wants to learn about A.I.
Do I need to be a technical person to attend this?
No. This workshop is specifically designed for beginners and non-technical people. We will explain things in plain language and focus on practical understanding and application.
I’m 70+ years old. Do I really need to bother learning about A.I.?
Yes, if you want to understand the world that is rapidly forming around you. You do not need to become an expert, but learning the basics can help you recognize scams, understand new tools, communicate better with younger generations, and use helpful technology with more confidence.
I’m a teenager. Can’t I just learn about A.I. in school?
Schools may introduce some of it, but most students still do not get a clear, practical, and balanced understanding of how A.I. works, how to use it wisely, and where caution is needed. This workshop is meant to give you a more practical real-world introduction and put you slightly ahead of your peers who are only dependent on the schools to educate and expose them to A.I.
Is this only for business owners or ministry leaders?
No. This is for everyday people who want to understand A.I. for personal life, work, business, school, ministry, or simple day-to-day usefulness. We will provide practical ways that business and ministry leaders can use A.I., but our focus is on educating Christians in everyday life.
Will this be interactive?
Yes. This is meant to be more than a lecture. We will present information, but you will also see demonstrations, be able to follow the thought process behind them, and engage with the ideas in a practical way.
Will I be able to ask questions?
Yes. We want people to leave with clarity, not confusion, so there will be time for real questions from attendees.
Will we actually use A.I. during the workshop?
Yes. The goal is not just to talk about A.I., but to let you see it, understand it, and experience practical examples of how it can be used.
Do I need to have a laptop?
Not necessarily. This intro class is designed so you can still benefit even if you simply come ready to listen and learn. If you do have at least a smart phone, it may help you follow along more actively.
Will this class be too advanced for me?
No. This workshop is being built for people who are new, unsure, cautious, curious, or just trying to get a solid starting point.
Will this class be too basic if I’ve already used tools like ChatGPT?
Even if you have used some A.I. tools, this workshop can still help by giving you a clearer framework, stronger discernment, and more intentional ways to use A.I. wisely and productively. It may also expose you to other A.I. tools and resources that you are not aware of.
Will this help me understand how to use A.I. to help me at work?
Yes. One of the goals is to help people see how A.I. can support writing, planning, organization, communication, research, and other practical work tasks.
Will this help me understand how to use A.I. for ministry?
Yes. We will discuss how A.I. can assist with brainstorming, communication, content creation, planning, and other support functions while still keeping people sensitive to the Word of God, His Spirit, wisdom, and truth.
Will you explain what A.I. can and cannot do?
We will cover several aspects of that. A big part of this class is helping people separate reality from hype so they can understand both the usefulness and the benefits of these tools. While we cannot possibly cover every aspect of A.I. capabilities, we will cover many of them.
Will you address the dangers and deceptive uses of A.I.?
Yes. We will address many concerns like deception, false content, manipulation, and the need for discernment directly. We are not pretending those issues do not exist. We want to make you aware of key things to look out for.
Will this show me which A.I. tools are worth trying first?
Yes. We plan to expose attendees to a range of practical tools that beginners can use. We will highlight several free and low cost A.I. tools and systems that can help with many tasks.
Do I need to use A.I. for everything after this?
No. The point is not to force A.I. into every part of life. The goal is to help you understand it well enough to use it wisely where it is helpful and avoid it where it is not.
Will this teach coding or advanced technical development?
No. This is an introductory, practical workshop. The emphasis is on understanding, real-life use, discernment, and simple application.
What if I’m skeptical about A.I.?
That is completely fine. This workshop is a great place for thoughtful skeptics because to be skeptical, you need to first understand. We are not promoting anything other than helping Christians gain understanding, wisdom, and practical clarity.
What if I’m excited about A.I. already?
That is fine too. This workshop can help you build a more grounded perspective so your enthusiasm is paired with wisdom, restraint, and discernment.
Will I leave knowing everything about A.I.?
No. A.I. is a broad and fast-moving space, and it is not possible to cover everything in a short workshop. But you should leave with a much stronger foundation, better questions, and practical next steps.
